Gwendolyn Duet, usually called Gwen, is a First Nations Canadian crawler, tattooed fighter, and outspoken chat coordinator. Her system class is Boring Ol' Fighter, a deliberately unglamorous title that understates her discipline and practical leadership. Gwen helps liberate multiple Fifth Floor quadrants and dies fighting high elves during the Butcher's Masquerade. Gwen is a muscular, tattooed human woman whose life before the crawl involved physical labor and a direct, confrontational manner. At level 34 she is listed as a Boring Ol' Fighter. The plain class lacks a theatrical theme, but gives her a reliable foundation for weapons, endurance, and battlefield command. During the Iron Tangle crisis, Gwen uses shared chat to warn crawlers that Carl's predictions are coming true and orders panicking groups toward train-line choke points. Her blunt insults create friction, yet the advice is accurate. She treats communication as an operational tool rather than a popularity contest. Gwen enters bubble 543 in the Land Quadrant and helps organize attacks on the Sandcastle of the Mad Dune Mage. Her party builds siege equipment and later joins cross-quadrant operations. Gwen, Low Thi, and Morris Sp receive credit for liberating the Subterranean Quadrant after its apparent inhabitants have been killed or displaced. She works with Katia, Tran, Bautista, Imani, Elle, and other coalition leaders. Gwen's reliability during the Fifth Floor makes her part of the trusted force surrounding dangerous hunter targets on the Sixth. Tran is her closest continuing companion and is devastated by her death. During the final Masquerade battle, Carl finds Gwen's body among elves and insect creatures beside Cleiton. Tran survives nearby but loses both legs. Gwen's death is confirmed in the aftermath and recap. Her practical warnings and Fifth Floor work remain part of the coalition's institutional memory.
