These terms govern access to and use of Dungeon Crawler Carl Wiki. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully, respect the work of its contributors and the rights holders behind Dungeon Crawler Carl, and avoid conduct that damages the archive or other visitors. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The wiki is an unofficial fan reference. It is not operated by Matt Dinniman, a publisher, an audiobook producer, a streaming service, an adaptation studio, or another official rights holder. The site provides commentary, summaries, indexes, continuity notes, and navigation for readers. It does not sell access to the novels, provide complete book text, or guarantee that any page reflects the latest official announcement at every moment.
These terms are written for this archive rather than copied from a generic community template. The site’s main risks are specific: spoilers can appear in search surfaces, fictional claims can be confused with real announcements, short summaries can accidentally overstate uncertain canon, visitors can submit copyrighted source material, and automated reuse can detach careful caveats from the facts they qualify.
Reading the archive
You may browse public pages for personal, educational, critical, and other lawful purposes. You may link to pages and use ordinary browser features. You are responsible for deciding how much of the series you want revealed before opening a full-series article, chapter guide, or late-floor mechanics page.
Spoiler labels are a navigation aid, not a perfect guarantee. Titles, related-page cards, category names, search snippets, and external search engines may reveal some context. A page labeled through Book 7 may discuss deaths, alliances, locations, or system changes from all earlier books. If avoiding spoilers is important, begin with the reading-order and book landing pages rather than searching unfamiliar character names.
The archive distinguishes the novels from adaptations and public production news, but errors are possible. Do not rely on a fan page as the sole source for a purchase, event booking, rights negotiation, media report, or professional decision. Confirm release dates, formats, credits, and adaptation status with an official publisher, creator, platform, or studio source.
No substitute for the books
The site is designed to supplement reading, not replace it. Pages may omit dialogue, jokes, scene construction, atmosphere, minor actions, and details that are not necessary for the reference topic. A chapter summary is not the chapter. A timeline is not the narrative. A mechanics guide can explain how the Iron Tangle or T’Ghee framework operates without reproducing the experience of discovering it alongside Carl and Donut.
You may not use the site to assemble or distribute a substitute edition of the series. Prohibited examples include combining chapter pages into a scene-by-scene reconstruction, adding copied passages until an article functions as a transcript, or presenting wiki exports as the original books. You also may not ask contributors to upload ebooks, audiobook recordings, advance copies, leaked scripts, or private production files.
Nothing on the site grants you rights in the underlying novels, official art, recordings, adaptations, names, or marks. Those interests remain with their respective owners.
Accuracy, interpretation, and fictional subject matter
The archive aims for accuracy, but its subject is a developing fictional continuity told through limited viewpoints. Interface messages can be incomplete. Characters can lie, speculate, forget, or misunderstand. A title may describe a dungeon role rather than a person’s entire identity. A later book can recast an earlier scene without changing what the earlier characters reasonably believed.
For that reason, pages may label a statement as confirmed, reported, inferred, disputed, or unresolved. Do not remove those qualifiers when quoting or reusing a claim. Saying that the Krakaren appears as an octopus-like boss is different from claiming the outside collective intelligence literally has that form.
The site may correct, reorganize, rename, merge, split, or remove pages as the record improves. Old URLs may redirect. A current article is not a promise that no future edition or novel will alter the interpretation.
Acceptable use
Use the site in a way that preserves access for others. Do not attempt to bypass security, obtain credentials, probe private systems, introduce malware, interfere with hosting, overwhelm the service, or exploit a technical flaw. If you discover a vulnerability, report it privately with enough information to reproduce the issue and allow a reasonable time for remediation before public disclosure.
Do not impersonate the site, its operator, the author, a publisher, an adaptation partner, or another visitor. Do not use the wiki’s name or visual presentation to suggest an official endorsement that does not exist. Do not send fraudulent rights claims, fabricated source citations, threats, harassment, or deceptive correction campaigns.
Automated access must be proportionate and lawful. Small-scale indexing by ordinary search services is different from high-volume extraction that disrupts the site or republishes the archive as a competing product. Respect technical limits and instructions made available through the site. Do not evade rate limits or rotate identities to continue access after being blocked.
Submissions and correction messages
When you send a correction, topic proposal, source link, or other contribution, you represent that you have the right to send it and that doing so does not breach confidentiality. Do not submit a complete copyrighted chapter simply to prove one sentence. Provide a concise locator and your own explanation instead.
You grant the site permission to use, edit, summarize, and incorporate the nonconfidential content of your submission for operating and improving the archive. This permission allows an editor to turn a reader’s correction into revised prose, adjust wording for consistency, and apply the same correction to related pages. Do not mirror a substantial portion of the archive, sell repackaged article text, strip attribution from original diagrams, or imply that an altered page is the site’s approved version. If you want to republish a full article, use the archive as a dataset, include material in a commercial reference, or reproduce multiple original graphics, request permission.
Independent research is encouraged. Verify the books, write in your own voice, cite help you received, and preserve uncertainty where the source remains uncertain. That practice produces a healthier fan ecosystem than copying an article and changing a few labels.
Links and third-party services
Pages may link to publishers, author pages, retailers, audio producers, streaming platforms, social networks, convention organizers, interviews, archives, and other third-party sites. A link identifies a source or gives readers a route to more information. Reports of broken or misleading links are welcome so the archive can update its references.
The site may discuss adaptation projects that are still developing. Casting, format, release windows, creative teams, and platform plans can change. A dated status note reflects the public record checked on that date, not a warranty that production will proceed unchanged.

Any direct liability that cannot lawfully be excluded will be limited as the applicable law permits.
This section does not exclude responsibility that cannot be excluded by law. It also does not reduce the site’s commitment to correct substantiated errors, address credible rights concerns, or repair accessibility and security problems.
Changes to the service or these terms
The archive may add, revise, or retire features and pages. These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the site, law, or editorial practice.
