Silfa

Silfa was an older Earth crawler, fairy healer, former baker, and member of Brynhild's Daughters. She traveled with Hekla and Eva during the Iron Tangle rescue mission and later remained with Eva after Hekla's death. Eva's leadership ultimately resulted in the deaths of Silfa and both of her daughters. Before the collapse, Silfa owned a bakery. She is older than many members of Hekla's organization and enters the dungeon with two biological daughters. All three survive long enough to join the Daughters, making Silfa's decisions inseparable from her effort to keep her family alive. Silfa selects or becomes a fairy healer. She is small enough to fly and operate from protected positions, although she is described as larger than some other fairy crawlers. Her daughters are magic users, but their exact classes and names are not stated in the scenes centered on Silfa. Under Hekla, Silfa participates in a women-led network with shared headquarters, equipment, and tactical organization. Her record shows more than two dozen boss kills, yet direct combat reveals that a high kill count does not necessarily mean confidence under chaotic conditions. Group participation can credit support characters without preparing them to make independent battlefield decisions. Silfa and her daughters receive little sponsor help. Their shared sponsor, associated with a crab ranch, sends no useful intervention during the crisis. Silfa fears losing the party's personal space and accumulated resources if Hekla's structure collapses. Silfa accompanies Hekla, Eva, Carl, Donut, and Katia on a train mission through a ghoul-infested region. She can cast roughly five heals before exhausting her mana and must manage potion cooldowns. Carl pushes her to heal Katia earlier than her usual threshold and gives her timing instructions. She can also remove an unconscious condition, making her a crucial support asset. The episode illustrates how healer effectiveness depends on communication. Waiting for a rigid percentage can be fatal when damage arrives in bursts. During the ghoul attack, Eva tells Silfa to stop healing Katia and hide in an apartment. Silfa's daughters are positioned outside with instructions that could draw Carl into a confrontation if the situation deteriorates. Carl interprets the arrangement as an attempt to use Silfa as bait and manufacture an excuse to kill him. Silfa is frightened and not fully informed. Her vulnerability does not make her a conspirator equal to Eva. She is a dependent member of a hierarchy trying to protect her daughters while more powerful figures manipulate the encounter. When Katia kills Hekla through the Crown of the Sepsis Whore interaction, Silfa initially accuses Katia of murder. She flees and hides until Donut pins her. Carl releases her and attempts to explain what happened. Silfa says she wants her daughters safe and wants to go home. Her continued loyalty reflects fear, grief, and dependence on the Daughters' infrastructure. Despite Katia's attempts to keep former members away from Eva, Silfa later rejoins or remains with Eva. By the end of the Sixth Floor, Katia confirms that Eva has gotten Silfa and both daughters killed. The deaths occur off page, so the exact enemy, location, and final actions are not known. The outcome is nevertheless explicit and should not be listed as merely missing. Silfa's death motivates Katia's effort to gather and protect the surviving former Daughters. Her biography demonstrates how abusive leadership persists after a charismatic leader dies: resources, fear, habit, and family vulnerability can keep people attached to the most dangerous remaining authority.
