Sir Rendlegore, usually called Rend, is a Tummy Acher pet bonded with Carl after Garret's fifth regeneration. The reset produces a level 1 infant without Garret's memories, and Louis suggests a new name honoring Tserendolgor while recognizing the new identity. Rend grows into a powerful coalition tank and remains active through the Tenth Floor. Tserendolgor deliberately triggers Garret's fifth death while she is dying. Tummy Acher mechanics regenerate the body, reset its level, erase memory, and require a new bond. The infant climbs into Mongo's mouth, is regurgitated, eats chowder, and eventually bonds with Carl. Louis proposes Sir Rendlegore as a tribute to Tserendolgor, with Rend as the practical short form. The name preserves memory of Ren without pretending the creature remembers being Garret. Rend is therefore a successor rather than a simple rename of an uninterrupted pet. Rend carries the accumulated one-hundred-twenty-five percent potential and five weaknesses generated by Garret's death cycle. He begins small, grows rapidly, and reaches a much larger combat form around level 25. His Wrecking Ball style, appetite, and durability make him suitable for tanking and impact attacks. Rend matures during the Ninth Floor war, protects Carl's coalition, and fights powerful creatures. He intervenes when Gustavo-3 threatens Mongo, kills the dog, and saves Donut's companion. Donut explicitly thanks Rend, marking his acceptance within the party's family network. By Book 8 Rend is larger, housed with other companions, and involved in races and camp life. A comic intoxication sequence does not remove his combat importance. He remains alive, bonded to Carl, and distinct from both Garret and ordinary dungeon summons.
