Frank Q

Frank Q is a human crawler, husband of Maggie My, father of Yvette, and one of the first player killers encountered by Carl and Donut. He kills Rebecca W. for equipment, attacks Carl in a saferoom with Maggie, and later becomes entangled in Shi Maria's manipulation. A Maggie-controlled Chris kills Frank in the Iron Tangle. Carl discovers Rebecca W.'s stripped corpse and a system notice naming Frank as the killer. Frank is level 8 when encountered, armed with an axe and throwing knives. The evidence indicates that he and Maggie kill and loot vulnerable crawlers rather than limiting violence to self-defense. Frank and Maggie try to ambush Carl and Donut inside a protected area. The dungeon freezes or penalizes attackers and rescues the targets, creating the Bitchmeat achievement. Carl later lays a trap outside the safe zone, beginning a feud shaped by both sides' fear and retaliation. Frank and Maggie entered with family responsibilities, including daughters Yvette and another child. Producers exploit those bonds. Shi Maria and other forces offer, threaten, or manipulate the couple through promises about their children, turning existing violence into a more elaborate control mechanism. Frank eventually gives Carl the Ring of Divine Suffering and speaks about being crushed by the dungeon. The transfer does not erase his murders, but it shows a person who recognizes the system consuming him. Carl later uses the ring as a central strategic and moral burden. Maggie controls the enslaved Chris, who kills Frank during the Iron Tangle. Frank remains dead. The Eighth Floor later creates a level 90 Leveled-Up Frank card based on him. Carl refuses to keep it because the construct is not Frank and because using a dead crawler's identity as a weapon repeats the production's abuse.
