Chapter 15 of The Gate of the Feral Gods continues the Fifth Floor campaign in bubble 543. The chapter combines immediate survival work with new evidence about the bubble's overlapping castle stories. Its ending changes the party's next objective rather than functioning as an isolated encounter. With Chris contained and the Air Quadrant castle still incomplete, Carl needs Juice Box to explain the changeling infiltration, Henrik's role, and the Gate of the Feral Gods. The surviving throne room is a suburban house floating against the top of the bubble. Reaching it requires salvaging and flying damaged gnomish equipment before the weather cycle closes. Juice Box confirms that Henrik is her brother and that the changelings sought Wynne's Flesh Mechanic ability to make Quetzalcoatlus physical. Touching the ghost would let Henrik add a rare form whose plant-altering power might correct defects in their people. The system issues the Gate of the Feral Gods quest, connecting the artifact to the bubble's competing castles. After the storm, Carl and Donut recover a damaged aircraft, use its emergency balloon to rise, and fly along the bubble ceiling to the remaining house. Inside they encounter Bonnie, Commandant Kane's daughter, beside her father's mutilated corpse. Carl chooses to hear Juice Box's motive before judging the infiltration and recognizes that the changelings were pursuing survival, not conquest. He still withholds full trust because the Gate could release a feral god on either side of a portal. Katia remains behind by choice, while Carl and Donut take the flight risk because their abilities are best suited to the confined airborne target. The Gate quest identifies an artifact assembled from pieces, including a winding box associated with the Mad Dune Mage. Quetzalcoatlus can alter plants and may repair changeling biology. The salvaged gnome aircraft uses an emergency recovery balloon, ceiling-relative flight, and a rear gun, allowing Carl to reach a castle that conventional ascent cannot access. Carl and Donut enter the ordinary-looking two-story home and find Bonnie wearing an oversized jersey. The child is calm despite blood throughout the kitchen and Commandant Kane's body on the floor. Mongo and his replicas search upstairs, while the apparent white-dot NPC invites the crawlers farther inside. The chapter resolves the basic changeling motive but adds larger uncertainties around the Gate. Bonnie's condition shifts the castle from military assault to hostage and boss puzzle. Katia's decision to sit out shows growing independence, while Carl's aircraft work advances his improvised-engineering role. The next chapter must determine whether Bonnie, Kane, or another entity controls the throne room. Carl, Donut, Mongo, Katia, Juice Box, Henrik, Wynne, Quetzalcoatlus, Louis, Firas, Zev, Loita, Bonnie, and Commandant Kane appear or are discussed. The Gate of the Feral Gods quest, winding box, salvaged aircraft, and floating suburban house are principal additions.
