Gore-Gore the Mantaur is a level 40 ManTauR, Ochre Line train engineer, adherent of Grull, and Berserker Extreme encountered in the Iron Tangle. His knowledge of the railway gives Carl unusually direct information about how trains, depots, and employee exits function. After recognizing Carl as the saboteur who destroyed his train, Gore-Gore becomes a boss and dies on an electrified third rail. Gore-Gore is approximately eight feet tall and combines a human lower torso and legs with a second muscular human torso. He has four arms, blue body paint, wrist blades, an engineer's cap, and a tank top advertising his physique. The ManTauR design is both a physical threat and a visual joke about exaggerated masculinity. A derailment allows Gore-Gore to leave his engine. He explains that engineers use an abyss gate, passenger cars are cleaned and reset, and the surviving front engine car returns to a depot. He also reveals the employee exit at station 435 and the memory loss affecting Kravyad workers. These disclosures turn a hostile NPC into a valuable source on the floor's hidden logistics. Gore-Gore initially follows rules of honor and insists that intruders in the engine must die. At Club Vanquisher, a cleric identifies Carl as the person responsible for the destroyed train. Gore-Gore's marker turns hostile and the confrontation becomes a formal boss encounter. His devotion to Grull also interacts with Carl's divine equipment and summon chance. Magic missiles do little against him, but his fear of magic influences his behavior. He slices Katia's arm, threatens Mongo, and nearly overwhelms Carl through strength and reach. Protective Shell sends the fighters down a stairway. Carl then drop-kicks Gore-Gore onto the electrified third rail, using the station environment instead of trying to win a direct exchange. Electrocution kills Gore-Gore. His drops include the Ochre Line Engineer's Key, Rev-Up Magic Hair Restoration, and a neighborhood map that displays the complete Ochre route. The encounter therefore resolves a dangerous pursuit while also advancing the larger mapping problem. His death is explicit and is not a later disappearance or template reset.
