Chapter 11 of Dungeon Crawler Carl follows Carl and Princess Donut during the the hoarder boss battle portion of the Earth crawl. The chapter advances the immediate survival plot while introducing rules and relationships that continue beyond the First Floor. The goblin dynamite detonates on impact while Carl is still near the chamber. He suffers severe blast damage, and the explosion reveals that the room contains more than ordinary Scatterers. Carl and Donut must determine what survived, manage limited health and mana, and defeat a neighborhood boss whose chamber will lock once the formal sequence begins. Carl recovers, activates a torch, and surveys dozens of dead bugs. The blast awards explosive, crowd-control, and skill notifications while producing the Boss Babe achievement for damaging a boss before its introduction. The Hoarder sequence then freezes the action, presents Carl and Donut as contestants, and identifies a level 7 Neighborhood Boss. The burned woman vomits new Scatterers as support creatures. Donut fires repeated Magic Missiles while Carl uses his chain-wrapped fist, kicks, and close-range strikes. After clearing brood guardians and enduring bites, Carl reaches the nearly defeated Hoarder and punches her until her health reaches zero. Carl exploits the pre-battle damage rather than waiting for the staged encounter to unfold. He prioritizes support creatures because the Hoarder can continue producing them, then personally finishes the boss after she begs for religious mercy. The choice is tactically necessary inside a sealed chamber, but her human appearance and final words deny him emotional distance. Donut spends mana aggressively to prevent the support swarm from overwhelming Carl and accepts that they must kill the boss to reopen the room. A Neighborhood Boss encounter uses music, combatant portraits, a sealed arena, health bars, support mobs, and a winner announcement. The formal sequence can begin after a boss has already been injured. Damaging a boss grants a distinct achievement, while killing support creatures during the fight contributes experience and skill growth. The Hoarder can generate Scatterers from her body, and potion cooldowns limit how quickly Donut can restore mana or health. The Hoarder dies, the remaining Scatterers collapse, and the system declares the Royal Court of Princess Donut the winner. Carl leans against the corpse while fighting nausea. The pair has completed its first boss victory and survived a locked encounter, but Carl is disturbed by the person-like fear and suffering of the enemy he killed. The victory awards boss loot, a neighborhood map, bronze stars, and the first clear expansion of the minimap. It teaches Carl that boss presentation can be manipulated before the lock and that environmental damage can simplify an encounter. The Hoarder's death also begins the series' sustained moral conflict around transformed people, scripted enemies, and the production's attempt to make intimate violence entertaining. Carl, Princess Donut, the Hoarder, multiple Scatterers, and the System AI appear. The Royal Court of Princess Donut receives its first formal boss-win presentation.
