Cici

Cici is one of Lucia Mar's two Rottweilers and the larger counterpart to Gustavo-3. Dungeon transformation makes her nearly twice the size of the other dog, with teeth as long as a human hand. Princess Donut decapitates Cici during the confrontation in the burning treehouse village. Cici enters the crawl as a Rottweiler connected to Lucia Mar. By the Sixth Floor she has grown into a massive combat animal. Her enlarged incisors, strength, speed, and aggressive behavior make her a threat to crawlers even when Lucia is not directly attacking. Lucia speaks to Cici as a beloved companion and also directs her as a weapon. The dogs are entangled with Lucia's changing personalities, fragmented memories, and the children or agents inside her system. Lucia distinguishes Cici from Gus, calling Gus the worse one, but acknowledges that both dogs kill when she loses control. Cici enters the burning treehouse pub after Gustavo attacks Samantha outside. Lucia orders the dog to kill Donut and preserve the cat's head. Donut uses an illusion sequence, invisibility, and the Hole spell to evade the first bite and reposition the floor beneath the dog. Cici places her head through the circular opening while trying to reach the invisible Donut. Donut closes the Hole spell, severing the dog's neck. Cici's head falls to the ground while Lucia holds the headless body. The system does not restore the same animal. Lucia responds with grief and says Donut killed the wrong dog. She stores Cici's corpse in inventory and shifts personality and physical form as the building collapses. The death deepens the hostility between Lucia and Donut and becomes evidence that Lucia's pets are emotional anchors as well as combat assets.
