Book 8 also reveals his family, legal education, and long resistance to anti-Nullian discrimination. Quasar is a green Nullian with a distinctive alien appearance, expressive profanity, and an expanding collection of Earth-themed neckties. His aggressive speech can sound unserious, but he reads contracts closely and recognizes traps hidden in apparently generous offers.
