Li Jun is a Chinese human crawler, Street Monk, brother of Li Na, and long-term teammate of Zhang. He first reaches wider attention when Carl and Donut intervene in a forced broadcast fight. Li Jun becomes a dependable allied melee fighter and dies defending Donut's tower during the final Faction Wars crisis. Li Jun, Li Na, and Zhang are among the crawlers endangered during the Maestro's program. Carl's intervention helps them survive and establishes a reciprocal relationship. Li Jun soon enters the top ten as a level 25 Street Monk, demonstrating a fast, disciplined build centered on unarmed or close combat. Li Jun is the stabilizing brother between Li Na's growing power and Zhang's quieter support role. The three remain together across floors and coordinate with Carl, Katia, and Meadow Lark. Their loyalty is based on repeated shared danger rather than formal subordination to the Princess Posse. Li Jun is infected with vampirism but initially tells only Li Na and Zhang. Miriam Dom's death cures connected vampires, exposing the infection to the wider group. Katia is angry that he concealed a threat that could have affected allied planning, though the relationship survives. Li Jun serves in the crawler coalition and participates in the defense network around Donut's Nest tower. His melee abilities, discipline, and willingness to reinforce dangerous positions make him one of the trusted fighters who answer when Donut's plan places the tower at the center of the final battle. Li Jun dies keeping Donut protected during the tower crisis. Li Na blames Donut while grieving, and Donut accepts that her plan contributed even though Li Jun chose to help. Zhang later carries a target cape and his own grief. Book 8 repeatedly cites Li Jun's sacrifice as a debt the central party owes his surviving teammates.
