Fire Brandy was a level 75 Lesser Demon MILF and non-combatant firewoman aboard the Nightmare Express on the Fourth Floor. She taught Carl to operate the train, maintained its boiler while continuously giving birth, recovered memories of prior dungeon assignments, and chose to die with Tizquick while destroying the abyss generator. Fire Brandy appears as a red-skinned demon woman with black hair in a rockabilly updo, a red bandana, black horns, and swirling dark eyes. She speaks with an accent Carl compares to German. The system lists her as level 75, a non-combatant, and the firewoman of the Nightmare Express. Only her head and upper body are normally visible through the boiler opening. She is sealed into the engine as part of a self-sustaining steam system. The confinement is presented as employment, but her later awakening exposes the absence of meaningful choice. The class description states that a pregnant Lesser Demon may labor for roughly sixty days and produce thousands of infants, most of whom die almost immediately. Their hardened bodies become Sheol Bricks, a fuel that burns intensely. A demon with water magic can therefore supply both heat and steam to a large boiler. The Nightmare Express is literally powered by the bodies of Brandy's failed young. The grotesque mechanic combines reproductive exploitation, fuel production, and dungeon humor. Brandy is not a boss who designed the system; she is the person forced to live inside it. When Carl takes the abandoned locomotive, Brandy warns him about dangerous pressure and directs him through the controls. Her crisp instructions let him stabilize, stop, and operate the train. She thereafter recognizes him as the person authorized to direct its major movements. Brandy is cooperative but not passive. She refuses other would-be operators and complains when plans proceed without consulting her. Her knowledge turns the Nightmare from an uncontrolled bomb into a central rescue and transportation asset. Conversations with Tizquick help Brandy remember prior versions of herself. She recalls working inside a ship's engine and a castle heating system. Each time she believed she was earning a living for her children. Each cycle gave her one or more viable babies, whom she named despite instructions not to do so, and each time the children disappeared before the next reset. The memories transform her understanding of the dungeon. She recognizes that her labor, motherhood, and losses have been repeatedly manufactured. Awakening does not provide an escape route, but it gives her the ability to interpret her final decision as resistance. Carl plans to send the Nightmare through a portal into the abyss so its explosion will destroy the generator and open the way to stairwells. He offers to remove Brandy and her three current babies. She refuses. Tizquick also chooses to remain and ensure the train detonates properly. Brandy explains that she will not allow the production to use her and take her children again. Before leaving, she asks Carl to help awakened NPCs and insists that crawlers and NPCs should not be enemies. The train enters the portal and explodes, killing both workers and many monsters below. Carl explicitly understands Brandy's action as suicide undertaken to end the repeated loss of her children. The recap shows the train's role but omits Brandy and Tizquick from the controls, shifting attention and credit toward Carl. Her final request influences later promises to Juice Box and the wider NPC liberation movement. Fire Brandy is one of the first characters to state clearly that crawler survival and NPC freedom must become the same struggle.
