Eighth Floor sea creature encounters are the linked coastal battles, monster sightings, T'Ghee summons, and end-of-floor mass death events in the Cuba region. The encounters connect monk seals, crabs, the sea serpent Madre de Aguas, Raul, Geraldo, and the exiled demon prince Amayon. Carl and Donut enter an Eighth Floor region based on Cuba. The playable area includes parks, beaches, coastal ruins, settlements, and a limited portion of the surrounding ocean. Early reconnaissance shows red-tagged seals near shore and a distant sea serpent surfacing beyond them. The coast is not decorative. Water limits movement, hides large creatures, and supports rival monster populations whose conflict becomes essential to the regional plot. Monk seals and crabs are longstanding enemies in the local ecology. The seals hunt crabs, while the crab reproductive cycle places eggs and large numbers of potential offspring in the water. The hostility is preserved in the T'Ghee totems Geraldo the monk seal and Raul the crab. When summoned together, Geraldo and Raul exchange insults and can attack each other unless Donut intervenes. Their behavior converts the floor's environmental conflict into a deck-management problem. Geraldo functions as a strong melee fighter and tank. Raul is slower to prepare but possesses powerful ranged magic, including Bris and defensive shell techniques. Raul becomes highly submissive toward Donut while still reacting fiercely to insults from Geraldo. Totem battles reproduce local personalities without making the cards simple equipment. Donut must manage loyalties and cultural hostility in addition to cooldowns and card order. The Madre de Aguas is a once-worshiped sea serpent and lesser deity. After Amayon is expelled from Sheol, he inhabits her body. The resulting level 250 threat attempts to cast a wide-area portal that will take the souls of everyone in the Cuba region as payment for his return. Other powers interfere with the spell, but Amayon continues forcing it through. The regional quest transforms an earlier sea-serpent sighting into the vessel for the floor's final existential threat. Near the climax, Carl reaches a rocky beach covered with dead fish, birds, seals, and crabs. Memory ghosts continue walking along the shore as if enjoying an ordinary day after Christmas. The contrast joins Earth memory, dungeon ecology, and mass death in a single landscape. The demon-eviction event has already reclassified extraordinary numbers of crab reproductive cells as mobs. Their destruction helps break Sheol's balance and creates a technical opening Carl can exploit. Carl temporarily becomes deckmaster and summons Raul into the ocean. He persuades the crab to fertilize surviving eggs so their mass of new life can alter the soul calculation. Raul says he requires the sight of baby seals as a programmed trigger and reluctantly uses dead seals on the shore. The scene is comic in presentation but mechanically decisive. A biological act, an AI classification, and a demon's payment rule converge into a solution that ordinary combat cannot supply. The sea encounters reward ecological knowledge rather than raw damage alone. Understanding why seals and crabs fight, how Raul behaves, and what the AI counts as a mob becomes more important than simply attacking Amayon's host body. They also demonstrate the Eighth Floor's appropriation of living cultures and beings. T'Ghee cards turn local figures into summons, the demon uses a lesser goddess as a vessel, and the broadcast packages mass death as a timed finale. Carl's solution works because he treats the categories as testable rules rather than natural truths. Survivors use stairwells, broken enclosures, and Carl's plan to escape the regional soul harvest. The beach remains a record of the cost. The sea creatures are not a detached bestiary entry; their deaths, rivalries, and reproductive rules determine whether crawlers can leave the floor. Later references to Raul and the Eighth Floor retain this history. His value as a totem cannot be separated from the coastal ecosystem from which the card version was drawn.
