Clint

Clint Smashgrab is a level 50 Were-Kin Light Recon Specialist and one of six Chee boys protected by Miss Nadine. The original adult Clint is killed during the Sixth Floor river conflict. Edgar later recreates him as a child tattoo from Signet's memories, and the tattoo becomes a living flesh golem after Signet's death. Clint is a bald, one-legged adult with a metal prosthetic and a mace. He belongs to a group of Chee carpenter children displaced and transformed by high elves and Queen Imogen. Miss Nadine saves and raises the six survivors over centuries, preserving a family structure after their community is destroyed. Clint and the other boys can become were-castors, beaver-like combat forms suited to reconnaissance and coordinated attacks. Clint has high constitution and enhanced smell and hearing. He frequently bickers with Holger, but the rivalry exists within a durable sibling and team bond. The Chee join Signet's group, protect camps, scout hunters, and help the crawler alliance. Clint's missing leg and prosthesis do not remove him from frontline work. His Light Recon specialty makes observation and movement as important as his mace. Clint is ripped apart during the river fight. His original adult body is not recovered intact. Edgar creates a child Clint tattoo using Signet's memory even without a complete corpse, proving that the later form is a reconstruction rather than ordinary healing or resurrection. After Signet dies, the tattoo becomes a flesh golem with the body of a kindergarten-aged Clint. He remains a child under the care of Miss Nadine and Holger, participates in the Ninth Floor community, and is later transferred with the awakened NPC population toward the Twelfth Floor. This later Clint is alive, while the original adult died.
