Clammy the Clown is a level 9 clown monster encountered in Grimaldi's Circus on the Third Floor. The interface describes the visible creatures as resurrected clones of an original circus performer. They are broad, clawed, cheerful predators that allow ticket holders to pass while attacking other intruders. Clammy clones are shorter than Carl but nearly three times as wide. They wear filthy pink-and-blue gowns with white neck ruffles and thick grease paint. Their faces are more human than those of the stilt clowns, but they have pointed teeth, long yellow fingernails, and visibly shifting bellies. The system claims the original Clammy was a portly boy who escaped into circus life, became an expert tumbler, and worked hard enough to join Grimaldi's family. The biography is delivered as boss flavor and may be a production narrative built around biological material. The resurrected versions retain exaggerated happiness and jollity while consuming victims. A ticket functions as access authorization. When Carl holds one forward, a Clammy clone sniffs it and steps aside instead of attacking. Clammy-type monsters guard the approach to the big top alongside stilt clowns, cages, lemurs, and other attractions. Their placement turns admission and performance rules into survival mechanics. A crawler who understands the ticket system can pass an enemy without combat. The Third Floor circus sequence ends with the destruction or collapse of Grimaldi's operation. Individual clones are not the original human performer restored to life. Their status should be recorded as template copies terminated with the encounter rather than one continuing character.
