Alpha Carl is a T'Ghee totem constructed from Carl's appearance, selected memories, combat style, and an exaggerated interpretation of his family trauma. The card is used by the Reminiscence Hydra of Malicious Compliance on the Eighth Floor. Alpha Carl is not Carl, a clone containing Carl's consciousness, or evidence of a second biological Carl. The T'Ghee system builds Alpha Carl from observed material and the memory environment surrounding Carl's father. His body resembles an idealized, hypermasculine Carl with enhanced hair, confidence, and aggression. The construct treats the real Carl as a lesser version and performs the role of the dominant son Carl's father demanded. Alpha Carl copies recognizable parts of Carl's build, including explosives, a xistera, a white gauntlet, and close-range physical attacks. He appears with King Croissant, a small singing kitten designed as a distorted counterpart to Donut. Their pairing turns Carl and Donut's public image into a hostile parody. The Reminiscence Hydra summons Alpha Carl during its trailer-yard encounter. He attacks Jola with hob-lobbers, escapes through King Croissant's song, returns after a time extension, and throws a shrapnel explosive that injures Carl, Mongo, and Shi Maria. His copied tactics make him dangerous because the original party recognizes their effectiveness. Alpha Carl calls Carl an abandoned son and accuses him of betraying family. He eliminates Raul during the fight and pins Carl under a bare foot. Mongo knocks him away before his summoning timer expires. The emotional attack is as deliberate as the physical one, using private abuse as entertainment. After the hydra dies, Alpha Carl's card appears among the recovered deck. Donut considers keeping it, while Carl rejects using a person-shaped construct built from his memories. The card is not shown becoming an independent individual. Its last confirmed active form times out, and its later retained or destroyed state is not separately resolved.
